On the 16 May 2017, Die Bron school in Stanford hosted a movement workshop for teachers in the town of Stanford. Teachers from different schools and community organisations attended and it was a fun filled afternoon with lots of movement and laughter where teachers had the chance to let loose and be children again. Regina Broenner facilitated activities from, “Movements Breaks in the Classroom”, published by David Krut Publishing in 2016 with support from the French Insitute of South Africa (IFAS).  The movement book aims to inspire teachers to incorporate these tools into their teaching environment for enhanced concentration.  It emphasizes relaxation and good quality teaching through a holistic approach bringing the whole body and mind into the classroom situation.

We had teachers from Die Bron Primary, Okkie Smuts Primary as well as FCW Community Workers attending the workshop.
