Stanford Creative Works (SCW) Holiday Program

Over the Easter holidays we offered a 4 day program for children from 5 to 12 years old. We worked in small groups offering a variety of creative activities as well as group games and movement activities.

The children created picture frames with their portraits inside and made Easter decorations. The Easter egg hunt was the highlight and everyone enjoyed hunting and of course eating the eggs and other treats.

Thanks to Rachel for making delicious chocolate muffins for all the children.

We also offered an outing to the Klein Rivier Cheese farm where the children could interact with animals and taste some of Klein Rivier’s delicious cheeses.

We are passionate about keeping children stimulated and safe in the holidays as it is a time where many parents have to work and therefore children are unattended and vulnerable.  We encourage everyone who is interested to get involved by spending some time with the children. By offering art and craft, storytelling, sport and other outdoor activities we can educate and make a difference in our children’s lives.
